Very dense fog today from Escanaba down to Green Bay. Plus another change back to Central time. Very disruptive to my sensitive constitution. I was pleased to be able to send Roger and Mike pictures from Lambeau Field. Also for Barb, who seems not to believe I have been places unless my face is in the photo.

I’m currently reading A History of Modern Europe by John Merriman. Came across this in the section on WW I. This picture of a grieving war widow, entitled “Her Cross”, by Lawson Wood, while not exactly on topic, affected me greatly.
