Back in Bangor. Off deployment. Done with the Spring semester at school. Starting to do some de-cluttering and now need to re-establish good habits for home.
Summer in Maine is a wonderful life. The door open letting in fresh air and light.

So appropriate to celebrate Beltane here. The start of the “light” half of the year. This is sunrise on May 2 – about 05:30 AM.
And the neighbors are also enjoying Spring. On the left is Janelle’s “Mama kitty” a feral cat that we caught, had fixed, and released. She is now about 14 years old by my count. And on the right is the first woodchuck seen this year. I’ve given up – the woodchucks win. No traps and relocations this year.
