It’s been a minute…

I’ve not posted for far too long. Kept sitting at the keyboard and not writing. As I sit here today, I think maybe I felt that I was coming to a fork in the road, though I wasn’t really aware of it at the time. I find that the Journey continues.

I’m not sure the picture of above has wide appeal. But I needed something to jump back into posting, and the graphic is Journey adjacent. I left Hawai’i in late June and stopped in at the Center for Domestic Preparedness for a week of training. My team thought we needed a visual for our training scenario – that’s me outside the broken down bus with the tools while my team mates discussed the situation “on the bus”. I feel good about it. When the Journey gets interrupted, break out the tools.

And that brings me to the fork in the road. I’ve sold the condo that Janelle and I shared for fourteen years and moved to a larger city. More on that later. These pictures are my sendoff to the Penobscot River, food trucks, and our condo. I have been fortunate to have them.

Lammas sorta got lost in the shuffle this year. Aware of its arrival but not able to focus completely on the holiday. I spent the evening at Wolftrap National Park for the Performing Arts watching a live taping of Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me!, with Anthony Fauci as the guest! We had Lammas appropriate snacks, but I apparently spaced on pictures.
