The end of the second leg – Chicago. Between the first and second legs, 6,276 miles and most of the states east of the Mississippi River since November 4th. How’d I miss Vermont? I’ll pick up Mississippi and Florida in the new year and South Carolina on the Spring drive home.
I’ve been in Chicago since Sunday, and Brittany joined me on Monday to spend Christmas with Kate and Susan. We’ve had a good time shopping, cooking, and walking a Windy city. After Christmas I’m headed out to warmer climes.
